About Me
I studied Psychology at the University of Bristol and graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology in 1999. I started my career working as a primary school teacher before training as an educational psychologist in 2002. I have an MSc in Educational Psychology from the Institute of Education in London. I worked as a local authority educational psychologist for 7 years. Following the birth of my first child, I started working in private practice in 2012, working as an associate of Lisa Hawking, a highly regarded independent educational psychologist. I also worked for 5 years as a consultant educational psychologist for Fairley House School, a specialist school for children with specific learning difficulties in London. Following the birth of my second child in 2013, I have been working solely in the private sector.
I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP). I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and I am a member of the Association of Child Psychologists in Private Practice (AChiPPP).
